YmirCage is a GPL-2.0-or-later lattice-cage add-on for Blender 4.5 LTS. Create an editable cage around selected meshes, choose world or active-local orientation, adjust padding and U/V/W resolution, and re-fit or remove the cage and its lattice modifiers. The add-on does not apply modifiers or permanently edit mesh geometry.
The tool-and-guide bundle includes illustrated setup instructions and a practice example; an earlier freely licensed build remains available. Verified in Blender 4.5.14 on Linux only; Windows, macOS and other Blender versions are unverified.
