Tensor-Cloth is a bidirectional physics engine designed for simulating realistic cloth dynamics, including stitching and interactions with rigid bodies. It is available as an addon for Blender.
The addon focuses on delivering detailed fabric simulations.
Bidirectional physics refers to a system where two or more physical entities interact and influence each other's behavior in real-time. This is something that distinguishes Tensor-Cloth from Blender’s default cloth system. While the default cloth can simulate interactions between cloth and rigid bodies, the interaction is one-directional (the rigid body bounces off the cloth, but the rigid body does not affect the fabric). Tensor-Cloth produces a more plausible simulation in which all elements of the simulation affect each other similar to the real world.
