Lk Driver Master is another Blender addon that simplifies and streamlines the setting up of driver relationships. It is similar to the free and excellent “Easy Driver” addon. So check that out first to see if it is sufficient for your needs.
One of the cool things about Lk Driver Master is that it provides visual cues in the viewport about the function of the driver and driven object. E.g. if the X location of the driver controls the Y rotation of the driven that will be made obvious through unmistakable icons displayed near the respective objects.
