Animation Snapper Pro is a Blender addon that helps with dynamic parent switching (a.k.a. space switching). This is a very common and tricky issue in 3D animation.
The addon can also be effective in motion capture cleanup.
This tool simplifies the process of space switching: instead of complicated constraints, it just bakes the desired relationship between two objects or bones to keyframes for a specified time-range.
So objects appear to be parented when in fact they may not be. This way complex parent-switching effects can be achieved without complicated setups.
