Rig Creator
Rig Creator is a free auto-rigging addon for Blender. It may be a new-comer to the Blender scene but already offers easy rig creation with impressive features:
- intuitive rig setup
- various professional animation features such as IK/FK switching & snapping, bendy limbs, and more
- A feature-rich Face Rig in two variations: regular and cartoony

For now, Rig Creator seems to be aimed at rigging humanoid characters and it is NOT a modular system. That means that you cannot easily customize the rig to e.g. rig an animal, set up more than two arms or legs, etc..
Nevertheless, this addon offers a quick and intuitive rigging workflow and it is worth a try.
