CloudRig
CloudRig is currently the primary Auto-Rigging System used at the Blender Animation Studio.
This auto-rigger started out as an “Extension” for Rigify. However since Blender 4.1 it has become a stand-alone addon.
Nevertheless, if you are familiar with Rigify, CloudRig should be easy to get started with. Similar to its sibling, CloudRig offers a “human metarigs” which you can just align to your character, press “Generate” and get a fully functioning, feature-rich animation rig.
CloudRig also attempts to be more user-friendly and offer its users various quality-of-life features.
If you’re looking to get started or even go deeper into customizing your CloudRigs, you’ll find learning resources below.
